Brother/Sister in Islam
SUBJECT: LETTER OF THANKS FOR THE FUND RAISING
I want to inform all the believers
that our fund raiser on last Sunday June 17th, 2007, was
a success. We raised $38,250.00 out of our $50,000 target. Once
again, I want to thank each and every one of you for your
participation. For those who did not make it on that day, the door
is still open because we are still short of $11,515
I want to extend my special thanks
to the youngest and first donors of this important event and
they are; Pa-Pay and
Mamadee Kromah ; the sons of Mr.
Mamadee and Mrs. B. Kromah. They brought in their donation at about
3:00 pm before the official lunching
of the occasion at 5:00 pm. I was
very moved and touched by the
action of these two youngsters.
I ask Allah to continue to guide them
and protect them and all of you and your family from all evil and
calamity and to build for you a house in Al-Jannah for building a
house for Him in this world. Ameen.
The Messenger of
Allah said, “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah
will build for him a house in Paradise”
[Al-Bukhari & Muslim].
In another Hadeeth
the Messenger of Allah, May Allah’s peace and blessing be upon Him
said: “Every day two angels come down from the heaven and one of
them says, ‘O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in your
cause,’ and the other angel says, ‘O Allah! Destroy every miser.” Al
Bukhari.

We also want to inform all of you that we are
waiting for the permit from the City to start the project.
Inshaalah, we intend to finish it before
next Ramadan which will fall this year on mid September 2007.
