An open letter to Christopher Harmon for his anti Mandingo E-mails

By: Lussane Sackor February 27, 2007                       REPUBLISHED

I’m not a psychiatric, and I’m definitely not in the habit of predating people mental status just by listen to what they say, or by reading what they write. But, after reading Christopher Harmon hate e-mails sent to Limany on Feb. 15, I knew from the onset that he has some mental issues. I’m show most people felt the same way after reading his trash and insults. Well, I was right in my predation, his friend and neighbor in the Netherland; Ismail Fofana has proven my suspicions. “Christopher Harmon was hospitalized in 2000 and 2001 for mental problems, he is highly depressed and has no sense of direction” said brother Ismail Fofana.

Chris has since apologized on Bengoma and Limany web sites for been so hateful. However, I want to say to Chris that it is ignorant people like them, who do not know their own history that I creating lots of problems for Liberia. It is unacceptable for you to disrespect other with out any consideration, only to later issue some cheap apology. Chris try to portray him self as a defendant of the Ellen led government, but it is very cleared that he was written out of hate of the Liberian people, not love for the Liberian government as he may claim. You have shown us your true color Chris. You are a jealous, tribalistic, and a non progressive person. Every good government and people around the civilize world are open to criticism, we use criticism to improve on areas and things that we are lacking. Obviously, you do not know that. Your idea of government is from the Stone Age.

Every tribe in Liberia endured enough suffering during the civil war. Your people (The Krahn) were rape, slaughter, and chase out of their homes, but that did not teach you any lesson. I hope you learn some day that been against the Mandingo people is not the solution to Liberia’s problems. It will only keep people like you in isolation. We the intelligent Liberians are moving forward, while you and few of your imbecilic surrogates are stuck in disbelieved. Beware that there is no room in Liberia for your cowardice ideas. You may keep hating, but it will only make us stronger and more progressive. You are lucky to be in a refugee camp in the Netherlands. You should use that little opportunity to improve your life, and help rebuild the country you claimed to love so much, but I doubt it if you will ever change, because your mental acumen is well below a par.

I will not get into explaining to you how much of a Liberian I’m, because you are not only nescience of your own history, you are inverted. My ancestors helped to build that country (Liberia). History explained it all. Also remember that it is due to the persistence and commitment of the Mandingo people that you are able to have a government to boost about today. I’m not an official spoke person for the Mandingo people, but I can assure you that we will continue to do everything we can along with other progressive Liberians to move Liberia forward. Your anti Mandingo rhetoric will never change that.

It is also cleared that your aggression and hatred toward the Mandingo people will not change the good will of Limany. What Limany does in informing the Liberian communities at home and in the diasporas is selfless, and I want to thank Limany for all that they do.
